This patient had several problems with this tooth - gum recession exposing part of the root surface and a tooth colored filling with a cavity starting underneath. It was repaired with a tooth colored filling, leaving the patient cavity free, less likely to get food & plaque caught on the rough root surface., and a better aesthetic outcome.
